Generalitat Valenciana wants to multiply by five the municipalities with access to European funds for sustainable urban development

Organised by Zubi Labs, which creates companies that seek to make a positive impact on our immediate environment, a conference was held today at the UPV’s Polytechnic City of Innovation in Valencia, entitled Re-Thinking Cities, which analysed the challenges of the urban world and studied various current and future success stories on how urban environments can improve people’s quality of life and opportunities.

After the welcome by the Vice-Rector for Employment and Entrepreneurship of the UPV, José Millet, the presentation of the conference was made by Iker Marcaide, founder of Zubi Labs, who stated that “the aim of the La Pinada neighbourhood project (Paterna) is to incorporate the best practices in the field of sustainability into a local project such as the future La Pinada eco-district”.
