Zubi Labs is organising the first international conference, Re-thinking Cities, Challenges towards Future Cities, to be held on Friday 29th June in the Ciudad Politécnica de la Innovación in Valencia
Worldwide population growth over the last decades has caused a huge urban growth that provokes a large list of problems that put the planet and the people líving standards on risk. Cities nowadays eat up a 75% of the natural resources of the world, produce half of the waste of the planet and generate 60-80% of the greenhouse effect gaseous emissions. This worldwide issue has drawn the attention of the polítics and públic actions from EU and United Nations who have established goals to act in a sustainable way in order to generate cities where citizens enjoy a decent quality of life by generating a shared prosperity and social stabilty avoiding hurting the enviroment.
