Dutch experts visit La Pinada neighbourhood as a reference experience in sustainable urban development

La Pinada, the eco-neighbourhood currently in the process of co-design in Paterna (Valencia) is consolidated as a reference at European level in the development of sustainable and intelligent districts by receiving the visit of European experts in sustainable urbanism from the municipality of Hilversuum (Holland).

The aim of this visit is to share knowledge and experiences on the different dimensions of sustainability. A day full of debate where, with a very tight agenda, both teams shared initiatives, projects, experiences and objectives around issues such as mobility, economic activity, landscaping, urbanism, etc..

With this visit, La Pinada continues its path towards the creation of an innovative eco-neighbourhood that inspires internationally a change towards a new model of urbanism and growth of cities.

European Mobility Week

The meeting, which is being held precisely during European Mobility Week, also aims to study the innovative proposals of La Pinada in the area of sustainable mobility.

In this sense, the eco-neighbourhood will pay special attention in its development to the creation of a living space, accessible and that will also serve to improve the mobility of the whole environment.
