Environmental and social sustainability is a growing priority in the new plans for the rehabilitation of urban centres
We traveled until 2021. La Pinada is already a reality: 25 green hectares ten minutes from the capital Valencia, where nearly a thousand families enjoy a healthy environment. Children playing in the streets, neighbours sitting in the fresh air, large green areas and playgrounds, people playing sports outdoors…. This will be the first eco-neighbourhood co-designed by its inhabitants to create an accessible, equitable, resilient, collaborative, healthy, safe and inclusive environment. A neighborhood whose inhabitants are very aware of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The example of La Pinada puts us on the track of an upward trend in Spain.
